Cllr Jack Owen was delighted to be able to support the Dementia Memory Walk that took place in Sudbury on 7th October 2017. The walk is held every year and this year the fundraising was for DeCaf in Sudbury and MCafe in Hadleigh. These are both projects that support those living with Dementia and also their Carers.
There were a number of different lengths of walk to participate in of 1 Mile, 3 Miles & 5 Miles
Cllr Owen, County Councillor for Sudbury, was able to support the walk by providing £309 from his locality funding to pay for the walk numbers, T-shirts and advertising.
Cllr Owen said; “This is a fantastic event that has become part of the life of Sudbury. I am delighted to be able to support this event in order to help all those who do an incredible job supporting those who live with dementia. I am looking forward to next year’s event already.”
